In May of 1972, HiStrength Bolt opened its doors for the first time. Starting out, we were only a ‘hole in the wall,’ so to speak. It wasn’t pretty, but we were open for business in the heart of Seattle’s industrial area. Thanks to many loyal customers, things began to take off. We’ve experienced growth through the years because our customers have been willing to overlook some mistakes, realizing it’s them we’re trying to please. We also have employees who truly try to do whatever is necessary to keep you, the customer, in business, and not dead in the water over bolts and nuts. We take this philosophy very seriously. In short, we pride ourselves in treating the customer the way any of us would like to be treated – with honesty, respect, and going the extra mile to make sure the job gets done right.
